La poesía dominicana en Italia: antologías y otras publicaciones a inicios del siglo XXI

Abstract

El objeto del presente artículo es proporcionar un panorama general sobre la difusión de la poesía dominicana en Italia, en el siglo XXI, y a la vez realizar una reflexión histórico-crítica sobre un fenómeno cuyo inicio cataloga este trabajo como tardío y todavía incompleto; esto así, porque aun no se han traducido los trabajos de una parte de los grandes poetas de la tradición literaria dominicana. Al final, se ofrece un catálogo de las obras traducidas al italiano en los primeros dieciocho años del presente siglo. //The purpose of this article is to offer a general overview on the dissemination of Dominican poetry in Italy, in the 21st century and to make a critical and historical reflection about a phenomenon whose beginning is hereby characterized as delayed and still incomplete; this is due to the fact that part of the work of the great poets in the Dominican literary tradition have yet to be translated. At the end of this paper, we offer a catalog of the literary works that were translated into Italian during the first eighteen years of the current century.
